OUR PICK
Known for combining cutting-edge design, illustrations and cine-journalism, Little White Lies seeks to capture the different aspects of the movie-going experience.

Alfonso Cuarón’s ROMA has been garnering rave reviews — if you’ve got Netflix you’ve probably already seen the preview of this trending movie, if not the movie itself. The movie narrates the story of a maid working for a well-off family in Mexico City in the early 1970s. This issue of LWLies explores the hours of preparation and self-examination that go into the production of a personal epic. Following an in-depth interview with Cuarón, the issue takes a look at other works of the filmmaker as well, including GRAVITY for which the director won an Academy Award.

This issue is the last of the magazines to be shared under the Paper Planes subscription service.
